Our Mission

To provide for and improve the welfare of children from marginalized & disadvantaged communities through education and skills training, enabling them to integrate, become self-reliant and contributing members of society.

Our Vision

A country where every child exercises all of his/her rights, especially the right to education and the right to a dignified life.

Child Focused Approach

HHWS maintains a dedicated child welfare team to ensure every project, program, and activity places children at the forefront. Our primary concern is prioritising what is best for children and young people, including their rights and protection. This team upholds our commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) by integrating its principles into policy-making, implementation, advocacy, and protective actions. Furthermore, the team actively seeks input from children and young people to enhance our programs and shape future endeavours. This approach aligns with the four key outcome areas outlined in the UNCRC.

Survival

Ensuring every child’s basic needs are met is the cornerstone of our mission. From nutritious meals to safe shelter, we lay the foundation for their holistic development.

Development

We believe in nurturing each child’s unique potential. Recognizing their talents and abilities empowers them to thrive and contribute positively to society.

Protection

We equip our partners to safeguard children’s rights through education and training. We also empower children to advocate for themselves and others, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

Participation

At HHWS, we value children’s voices and perspectives. We actively involve them in decision-making processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared learning.
