Helping Hand Welfare Society (HHWS) and Kristu Jayanti College Bangalore (KJC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the 13th of January 2022. Fr. Dr. Augustine George, Principal, represented Kristu Jayanti College, and Mr. Philip Mathew, the CEO, designated the Helping Hand Welfare Society.
The other dignitaries present during the event were Prof. Dr. Jonas Richard A., HOD of the Social work department, KJC, and Mrs. Beulah Subburaj, CFO at HHWS. A host of staff from both organizations, along with students of KJC, graced the occasion.
This MoU is to explore areas of mutual collaboration and cooperation between HHWS and KJC for the Development of Community through developing a better understanding of the educational, health, and nutritional needs of children who dwell in the surroundings through a needs-based approach.
Helping Hand Welfare Society CEO Mr. Philip Mathew said, “With the help of Kristu Jayanti College’s expertise and intensive field research and training, we can do much more in the community. We are happy to associate with a prestigious college, and I hope that this program will benefit more children who do not have access to quality education”.
